Hello (Again), World!
Let's claw our way up out of the abyss and back into the great, big world (wide web).

I'm Rolf. (You might know me from Bluesky and Mastodon.)
I created Landforms to take back control of how and what I publish on the internet.
Here, I can share whatever I want without having to pay any mind to obscure algorithms or data-desperate corporate agendas—just like we used to back when everyone had their own weird and wonderful blogs!
I'm looking forward to joining in the making of the real internet again, with all its open protocols and creativity and, well, freedom. If you're reading this, I think you should join in too.
Drafting this post on my own website feels like a lungful of crisp mountain air and gentle birdsong after having spent nearly two decades in the bowels of some dingy corporate torment pit shouting my throat raw—my voice lost to the wailing of millions of others.
Let's claw our way up out of the abyss and back into the great, big world (wide web).
Landforms is currently being served to you from a simple Raspberry Pi 5 setup—I call it 'Bedrock'—that's sat on my windowsill next to my router, and every time I look at it I think, "why didn't I do this sooner?!"
Thanks for being here, there's more to share, and I hope to see you on your own slice of the internet as well! 😎
R.
